Typically, grants are awarded to programs that build sturdy households, prevent child abuse and neglect, and recruit foster and adoptive dad and mom. Among the Foundation’s main programs are Healthy Families America and Wednesday’s Child USA, a campaign to advertise adoptions. Prevent Child Abuse America is dedicated to promoting legislation, policies, and applications that help forestall child abuse and neglect, support healthy childhood growth, and strengthen households. Working with State chapters, PCCA offers leadership to advertise and implement prevention efforts on the nationwide and native ranges. The National Exchange Club Foundation was established when the National Exchange Club, an all-volunteer service group adopted the Prevention of Child Abuse as its National Project. Today, NECF helps local Exchange Clubs develop and maintain community-based youngster abuse prevention packages, as well as supporting Exchange’s Program of Service projects, which embody Youth Programs and Community Service, amongst others.
