The General Assembly finds that the adoption of guidelines to manage cannabis use is deemed an emergency and essential for the common public interest, security, and welfare. It is the duty of the craft grower and its principal officers to promptly notify the Department of any change of the principal place of business tackle, hours of operation, change in ownership or control, or a change of the craft grower’s major or secondary contact data. A tax is imposed upon the privilege of cultivating and processing grownup use cannabis at the price of 7% of the gross receipts from the sale of hashish by a craft grower to a allotting group.
